Attending a Grammar School is an aspiration for many parents and students alike. Places are often limited (especially those on bursary) , creating competition and the need to be a high level student in order to be accepted.

Kip McGrath has a strong and successful history in preparing students for the 11+ exams. Local to us is The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) and we have students here preparing for Heckmondwike, North Halifax and Crossley Heath, Wakefield Girls, QEGS and Silcoates, Shipley, Ripon and even London and Birmingham schools – The Kip McGrath network also allows us to speak to local centres for guidance on your chosen school should you be relocating to other parts of country in the future.

Just like each student has individual needs, each grammar school has their own unique entrance exams and this is factored into your child’s preparation and work plan.

Some students will need long-term preparation to achieve a place, while others may simply need some short term coaching on exam technique so they feel confident going into the exams.
